Your information and choices

Our signup collects your contact details, optional name, selected interests, destination ideas and suggestions. Email and SMS choices are separate, optional and unchecked. Providing contact details is not marketing consent. Do not include payment, passport or sensitive information.

Purpose and lawful basis

We use enquiries and suggestions to understand and respond to requests under our legitimate interests. Marketing requires consent for the selected channel. Service security relies on legitimate interests; applicable legal obligations may require some processing. We record the wording, version and time of consent to respect and demonstrate your choices.

Cookies and analytics

This interface uses gp_privacy_v2 in local storage to remember your privacy choice for 180 days. It does not install optional analytics, advertising pixels or session replay. Essential platform authentication and security storage may also be used. If optional analytics is introduced, it will stay off until you opt in; rejecting it will not prevent signup. Cookie settings is always available in the footer.

Marketing and withdrawal

You can submit suggestions without marketing permission. Withdraw email or SMS permission at any time through a message's unsubscribe instructions or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Analytics and marketing permissions are separate.

Sharing and international processing

Authorised staff and service providers such as our Base44 website platform process information where needed to operate the service. We do not sell personal information. Contact us for information about the applicable safeguards.

Retention

Unconverted prelaunch submissions are scheduled for review after 12 months. Consent evidence and minimal withdrawal records are retained only as necessary to demonstrate and honour choices. Contact us for information about retention or to request deletion.

Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to legitimate-interest processing and object to direct marketing. Contact info@gildedpassage.com. You can also complain to the ICO. We do not use this form for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
